Yum Korea

Alright, buckle up buttercups, because I just experienced a flavor explosion at Yum Korean in Weston that left me questioning all my previous life choices (mostly the ones that didn't involve copious amounts of kimchi). First off, the name doesn't lie. It's not "meh" Korean, or "kinda good sometimes" Korean. It's straight-up YUM. My taste buds did a little happy dance, possibly a full-on K-pop choreography routine, with every single bite. I ordered the [insert a dish you might order, e.g., bulgogi] and it was so tender, I swear it could have been used as a pillow for a very happy cloud. The marinade? Oh. My. Goodness. I'm pretty sure they bottle pure joy and marinate their meat in it. And the sides! Oh, the glorious army of little dishes that arrived like a delicious welcoming committee! The kimchi was spicy and tangy, the pickled radish crunchy and refreshing – it was a party in my mouth and everyone was invited. I even tried something I couldn't pronounce (pretty sure it involved seaweed and sesame oil) and now I'm convinced I need a lifetime supply. The service was also fantastic. Our server was so friendly and helpful, they probably moonlight as a professional smile-giver. They answered all my slightly frantic questions about the spice levels with the patience of a saint dealing with a hangry food enthusiast (that's me!). My only complaint? My stomach has a finite capacity. I wanted to order everything on the menu, but alas, human limitations exist. I guess that just means I have to go back. Twist my arm, why don't you? So, if you're in Weston and your taste buds are feeling a little...blah, do yourself a favor and head to Yum Korean. It's not just a meal, it's an experience. Just be prepared to leave feeling incredibly satisfied and possibly humming K-pop tunes for the rest of the day. Five out of five tiny kimchi pots! Highly recommend!

I had the salmon poke bowl at YUM KOREA and it was absolutely incredible. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful—truly next level. The salmon was the star of the show—melt-in-your-mouth delicious and clearly high quality. I found out they actually fly in their salmon from Norway and have a sushi chef prepare it on site. You can definitely taste the difference. The portion was generous, and every bite was a perfect balance of freshness and flavor. I will 100% be back soon!

I recently became obsessed with bubble tea so my husband and I decided to check this place out while walking around in the area. I got the Tiger Bubble Tea and it was absolutely delicious. My husband was not expecting to try anything but he decided to get the Ribeye Bao Bun. It was sooo yummy that he stayed and got a whole bowl to go. He made his own bowl and he ate half and I ate the other half later. It was amazing and I’m not usually a person who likes to get Asian food. My 1 year old wanted to eat my food. My mom tried it and was obsessed. Now the whole family wants to try this place. More importantly, the customer service and attention was great. I normally don’t like to eat out anymore but here, we got top class service. We met the owner and he was so sweet. You can tell that the owner really cares about the business and making sure the customer is satisfied with the their experience. We will definitely be coming back.

I am Korean. Today, on the way to Miami with my two sons, we stopped by for lunch — and I was truly amazed. I lived in Texas for about two years, and while Korean food in the U.S. is usually similar, it’s rarely the same. But this restaurant is different. The taste was almost identical to what I eat in Korea. We enjoyed our meal so much. If you are craving authentic Korean food, you must visit this place. This is real Korean food, recommended by a Korean!

Did I just win the lottery or try the crispy rice bowl at Yum Korea? Wow!!!!!!! It takes a few extra mins and a couple extra dollars to get the crispy rice but it’s worth it. Sorry for the photo I couldn’t wait to take a bite before deciding to leave a review.

We love Yum Korea! Every time we’re in the area, this spot is a must have! Our fav dishes are the Korean chicken poppers, the volcano rice, and the fried mandu. Service is always very pleasant and the food is delicious every time. The atmosphere is fun with k-pop music videos playing and the dine in area and kitchen look spotless. Highly recommend Yum Korea!!

Yum Korea was a delightful surprise in Weston Town Center! As a big fan of hot stone Korean bowls, especially the crispy rice at the bottom, I walked in, not knowing what to expect, but left thoroughly impressed. The casual vibe of the place adds to its charm, and you order at the counter, making it a relaxed experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered great recommendations, which led to an unforgettable meal. We tried the steak and salmon crispy hot stone bowls, and both were fantastic, with the rice perfectly crisped up. The accompanying sauces, including the wasabi and soy oil, added a delicious kick to the dishes. To top off the experience, we enjoyed the refreshing ginger honey tea served over ice, with real ginger at the bottom—definitely a nice touch. They also offer wine and Korean sake, which I’ll definitely come back to try. Overall, I highly recommend Yum Korea for its authentic flavors and friendly atmosphere. I only wish they had a location closer to me in Palm Beach!

Having this is a staple any time I’m in the area!!! It’s always a nice experience. Everyone is so welcoming and kind and super professional! I feel very comfortable coming in on my own and have confidence when ordering thanks to the welcoming vibes within this establishment!!! Defined coming back!!!
